 I am 3 years old.
 I am a neutered female.
 I can live with teenagers.
 I cannot live with dogs.
I cannot live with another cat.
 I need an indoor home.

Mittens is a gorgeous little cat who is looking for a new home after she was sadly abandoned.

Mittens is a sweet girl who enjoys attention and will gladly curl up on your lap once she knows you. She loves to play and chases around a feather toy happily. As a social butterfly she likes spending time with her favourite humans and follows you about with earnest.

Despite her active streak, she’s a big fan of lazing about and showing herself to be a proper cuddle bug who will be quite content in your arms.

Mittens does have some skin irritation which flares up every now and then. To help with this, she is on a special diet (Z/D Hill’s Prescription Food) and she has a cream to put on during any outbreaks.

She will be homed as part of our Long Term Foster Scheme, meaning she will be able to have access to one of our veterinary clinics for treatments regarding her skin.

Our cats are rescues, that have either been abandoned, stray, neglected or abused. All homes need to have a home check either by video call or in person and we will provide advice about caring for cats or kittens. This is also a chance for us to see what type of home you can offer to one of our cats and to best match a cat with your home and family.

Following a successful home visit, we will make an appointment for you to come and meet the cats at the shelter and adopt. If you have picked cat/s from the website, you will meet them on adoption day.

We are prioritising homes that are local to our centre and these are the Canning Town catchment areas: East London, parts of North London and parts of West Essex.

If you can offer a home to a harder to home cat, we will consider a home outside these areas.
