 We are 1 year old.
We are a neutered male and a neutered female.
We need an adult only home.
 We cannot live with dogs.
We cannot live with other cats.
We need a home with a garden.

Delilah and Puffin were found in a rubbish and recycling centre with their two other siblings.

We had around twelve cats brought into us as a neuter then return mission that we provide. Those who were considered feral were neutered and returned, as the onsite workers already provided shelter and food for the cats, who preferred living outdoors.

Delilah and Puffin, Magic and Phoebe are siblings who were part of the recycling centre colony. The two pairs are still in our care and live all together.

Delilah came in with an eye ulcer, which was causing her a lot of pain. None of the treatments were working so the veterinary team made the decision to remove the eye altogether. Despite being in a much better condition, Delilah is still a little wary of people and human touch due to everything she’s been through. She is adjusting slowly and will need time to build a bond with someone who can respect her needs.

Puffin is a lot better with people and gains confidence every day. He now leans into strokes and is really enjoys the attention but can still get a bit freaked out and run over to the others for reassurance. Their sister Phoebe always waits at the front for fuss, leading the way for Puffin to follow. This in turn helps Delilah adjust to people, and then relaxes too.

Puffin and Delilah will need to be met a few times before they can be adopted, as this will help them have a level of trust with their new family, thus settling happily into new home.

Our cats are rescues, that have either been abandoned, stray, neglected or abused. All homes need to have a home check either by video call or in person and we will provide advice about caring for cats or kittens. This is also a chance for us to see what type of home you can offer to one of our cats and to best match a cat with your home and family.

Following a successful home visit, we will make an appointment for you to come and meet the cats at the shelter and adopt. If you have picked cat/s from the website, you will meet them on adoption day.

We are prioritising homes that are local to our centre and these are the Canning Town catchment areas: East London, parts of North London and parts of West Essex.

If you can offer a home to a harder to home cat, we will consider a home outside these areas.
