Zara and Zane were found with their two other siblings (Zac and Zoe), living in the back of a shop. When the rescue team picked them up, it became clear to us that they were terrified due to little or no interaction with people.
After a vet check to make sure they were fine, they tried to adjust to their new life at the shelter. Zara and Zane have really struggled settling in and are still very shy and scared when it comes to people. When we go in to their pen they often cuddle up together in their bed to make sure the other is safe. They love their food and like to play, and with them still being young, their curious nature eventually takes over and they will come to explore.
These two babies will take a while to settle in when adopted as they have never had any home comforts. They will need people who are able to give them the time and patience to come out of their shells and feel safe. We have no doubt that once they have built up a trusting bond with someone, they will be a loving addition to a home.
Zara and Zane really just need a chance to feel safe and happy with people who are able to put in the time and work into them.

Our cats are rescues, that have either been abandoned, stray, neglected or abused. All homes need to have a home check either by video call or in person and we will provide advice about caring for cats or kittens. This is also a chance for us to see what type of home you can offer to one of our cats and to best match a cat with your home and family.
Following a successful home visit, we will make an appointment for you to come and meet the cats at the shelter and adopt. If you have picked cat/s from the website, you will meet them on adoption day.
We are prioritising homes that are local to our centre and these are the Canning Town catchment areas: East London, parts of North London and parts of West Essex.
If you can offer a home to a harder to home cat, we will consider a home outside these areas.
