Penelope and her adult children are looking for loving homes in pairs.
They came into our care after their owner had moved out and left them in disarray. The home wasn’t safe for one cat, let alone six; the amount of clutter made it near impossible for our rescue team to move through the house safely. Sadly, this was the norm for these poor cats, who were terrified of everything and hiding any place they could - one was even found hiding in a chest of drawers.
They came in to the shelter all run down with flu and eye infections which have all since been treated. However, some cats may be carriers of flu meaning it can occasionally resurface during stressful situations, which we can advise on accordingly.
They have now settled into life at the shelter with Penelope, Petal and Rose showing how lovely and friendly they are. Flossy, Tango and Ted are still a bit more nervous and take a while to come over to you, but their curious nature always wins.
This beautiful bunch are very food motivated, making it an easy way to help win their trust. They are all very playful and enjoy chasing around toys as well as each other when they aren’t cuddled up in bed like a fluffy pile.
These sweethearts are a tightknit family that are looking out for a second chance at a loving home.

Our cats are rescues, that have either been abandoned, stray, neglected or abused. All homes need to have a home check either by video call or in person and we will provide advice about caring for cats or kittens. This is also a chance for us to see what type of home you can offer to one of our cats and to best match a cat with your home and family.
Following a successful home visit, we will make an appointment for you to come and meet the cats at the shelter and adopt. If you have picked cat/s from the website, you will meet them on adoption day.
We are prioritising homes that are local to our centre and these are the Canning Town catchment areas: East London, parts of North London and parts of West Essex.
If you can offer a home to a harder to home cat, we will consider a home outside these areas.
