Blue is a very friendly 10 year old male cat.   Blue was adopted from us as a kitten but has developed a health condition - megacolon - his colon has become stretched and is larger than it should be which can cause Blue to become constipated.  Because of this he can only eat wet food and also has lactulose in his food to help keep his faeces a bit softer, should Blue become constipated he then requires an enema.    His owners are struggling financially and could no longer afford any veterinary care so came back to us, we have offered to provide his treatment for megacolon at no cost so that they could keep him but sadly they decided to give him up for adoption.

Blue can be adopted under our Long Term foster Scheme whereby we will continue to provide veterinary care related to megacolon at our London vet clinics.

Blue is a really nice friendly cat who has been part of a family home, he can also live with other cats. Blue can be homed to a home with a garden - although care will need to be taken that he does not eat dry cat food at neighbours homes, so supervised or limit access to the outdoors rather than full cat flap access. Otherwise a spacious indoor home will be considered.
