Biscuit is a 15 year old semi-feral cat. Biscuit and three other cats were previously neutered and returned by ourselves to a site where they lived for many years, however the area began to be improved and  re-developed and people kept complaining about the cats presence so we had to bring them into the centre.  Biscuit is a funny old boy, he is happy to be close but not stroked and just likes a bit of comfort, he is to old to be rehomed again to live as an outdoor cat but we feel he could be quite happy doing his own thing in a rescue minded long term foster home.  Either an indoor only home or with a catio or cat proof balcony.  He is not particularly bonded to the other three cats but we feel he should have cat company either with cats already in a home or with Tigger an other old semi-feral from his group.

Biscuit and Tigger if also offered a home can be adopted under our Long Term Foster scheme whereby we will continue to provide their veterinary care via our Lewisham clinic, due to them both not being keen on being handled we will also provide extra support if required with bringing the cats for any veterinary treatment.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

Because our cats are rescued we do like to meet potential adopters this can either be at your home (home visit) or via a video call e.g WhatsApp this is an informal visit to provide advice about caring for cats or kittens e.g health care, feeding, settling in and also an opportunity for us to feel reassured that you could provide a good home.

Following a successful home assessment we can make an appointment for you to come and meet our cats.

We are prioritising homes that are local to our centres.  Lewisham Branch  Homing catchment area: All SE London and BR (Bromley) postcodes. Also N.Kent (Welling, Bexley, Sidcup, Swanley, Dartford), Croydon and SW London (SW8, SW9, SW2, SW11, SW4, SW12, SW16) If you can offer a home to a 'harder to rehome' cat we will consider homes outside our usual rehoming areas.
