Sicily is a 3 year old female cat who is currently in the care of one of our foster homes.  She had been brought to our veterinary clinic in December after she became unwell.  Tests showed issues with her liver and spleen and she was put on treatment.  She has recently completed this and her blood tests are normal again.  We have also neutered and microchipped her.  Sadly her owners decided to give her up so she is in need of a new home.  Sicily has been used to living as an indoor only cat and has lived with another cat before.  There is another cat in her foster home but Minnie is very lively and Sicily has been finding Minnie a bit too much to cope with.

"Sicily is an absolute cutie who's around 3 years old - she has the biggest roundest eyes you ever did see and gorgeous marmalade fur. She’s a funny little lady who isn’t quite socialised well enough to be a big snuggler, but she does like to lie down with part of her body touching yours, and will sleep on bed with you during the night. She's also a great alarm clock! She's a goofy girl and absolutely *loves* to play, so will need some dedicated time for this daily to keep her entertained.

Her likes are: wand toys, zoomies, squeaking at you for attention, any food at all, and playing fetch. Her dislikes are: closed doors, the hairdryer, and the doorbuzzer.  She can be a little nervy - she might hide when new people come round, but is very sociable, and generally a very good girl. She'd suit a quiet home with older or no children, and may get along with another calm cat.

She had some liver & spleen issues when she arrived at the beginning of the year, but is doing really well now and doesn't need to be medicated. She will need a check-up in mid-July at the clinic."
