Volunteer appeal Lewisham

Weekday Animal Care Volunteers needed!
Our busy Lewisham Centre in South East London is in need of more help with the day to day care of our many rescued cats who are awaiting new homes. Volunteers are an essential part of our Animal care teams, helping with the day to day care of our cats – cleaning litter trays, feeding cats, changing bedding and providing some important TLC.
We are currently looking for people who are specifically able to give us one regular morning per week, Monday to Friday. The shifts are 9am to 1pm.
Full training will be given, but some experience with cats, for example – owning your own cat(s), is essential. Our cats have been rescued from a variety of backgrounds and many are nervous, and require patience and reassurance.
Volunteers do need to be 18 years or over and able to work independently once fully trained. Please be aware that this can be a fairly physical job.
