Kebab shop strays

Our team responded to a urgent call for help from a local kebab shop where a mum cat had just given birth amongst the chaos of the back alley running behind all the shops.. When we arrived, we found her and her newborn kittens huddled together inside an open umbrella that was turned upside down on a pile of rubbish under some steps In addition there was also another struggling mum cat with an older kitten, an additional adult male cat and also a heavily pregnant female who bolted up a flight stairs as it was bucketing down with rain. All of these cats were found living in unimaginably difficult conditions.
We fear that one of the kittens didn’t survive the night—vulnerable and defenceless against the hungry foxes that roam these streets. These poor creatures are hungry too. We love and feed foxes and while they don’t typically attack adult cats, they do prey on tiny, helpless kittens, making this stage of their lives perilously dangerous. Their lives are at constant risk.
We’ve brought them all to safety at our Canning Town Centre, but we are stretched to our limits. Our centre is full to capacity, yet we cannot stand by and watch young, fragile animals face such horrific dangers. These precious lives depend on us—and on you.
There are too many kittens, too many desperate cases like this, and without your support, we simply can’t continue to save them.
