This family have now found lovely homes

Possum was left behind when her owner moved away, all the more cruel as she was about to give birth but luckily a kind neighbour got in touch to tell us about her plight. Soon after rescue she had 5 gorgeous, tiny but healthy babies.  She is a fantastic mum and understandably very protective of her little ones but she is very grateful of some help with her brood when she trusts someone. It is not ideal for the babies to grow up in a cattery pen so we would ideally love to find someone to foster the whole family for a few weeks to give mummy some help and  her little ones the experience of living in a family home to give them the best chance of growing up to be happy, confident cats. To foster this little family you will need to be local to our Greenacres centre (within a 30 minute drive of us), have a spare room where mum can have her babies in a safe and quiet space to acclimatise and will need to be able to pop in to feed and check everyone periodically if out at work (they are fine to be left with mum for 4 hours or so at a time). We will provide all the supplies, practical help and  advice you may need.
