Halo and Lyra

Halo and Lyra are beautiful sisters, nearly two years old, who are searching for a patient and understanding home together.

They came into our care after a kind lady who had been doing her best to help the stray cats in her area became overwhelmed by the number needing support. Halo and Lyra were born in a garden and were taken in as kittens, growing up safely in her spare bedroom.

The girls are finding shelter life quite stressful, and it has taken them some time to adjust to their new surroundings. They are naturally shy and cautious, but as the weeks go by, they are beginning to show more of their personalities. They enjoy playing, are becoming increasingly curious about the people caring for them, and are starting to gain confidence.

Like many nervous cats, Halo and Lyra can sometimes become frightened and may give a little hiss when they feel unsure. However, they are both huge food lovers, and a few tasty treats quickly help them realise that people can be trusted!

Halo and Lyra are looking for an experienced cat owner who understands that building trust takes time. They will need a calm, patient home where they can settle at their own pace and continue to grow in confidence. Once they feel safe, we are sure their loving personalities will continue to blossom.

Due to their timid nature, Halo and Lyra are looking for an adult-only household and will need an indoor-only home.
