Dobby

Dobby is a friendly 3 year old male Sphynx cat.  He was brought in to our centre in the arms of someone who said that they had been looking after him for a friend for 3 months but their friend had not returned for him and they could not keep him any longer.  They did not have current contact details for the friend but as Dobby was microchipped we attempted to contact them but have also not been able to make contact.

Our vets have now neutered Dobby and he is seeking a new home. An adult home is sought.  We believe that Dobby has previously lived as an indoor only cat. Dobby likes other cats.

Sphynx cats are a high maintenance breed and need a lot more care than a regular cat.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

Because our cats are rescued we do like to meet potential adopters this can either be at your home (home visit) or via a video call e.g WhatsApp this is an informal visit to provide advice about caring for cats or kittens e.g health care, feeding, settling in and also an opportunity for us to feel reassured that you could provide a good home.

Following a successful home assessment we can make an appointment for you to come and meet our cats.

We are prioritising homes that are local to our centres. Lewisham Branch Homing catchment area: All SE London and BR (Bromley) postcodes. Also N.Kent (Welling, Bexley, Sidcup, Swanley, Dartford), Croydon and SW London (SW8, SW9, SW2, SW11, SW4, SW12, SW16) If you can offer a home to a 'harder to rehome' cat we will consider homes outside our usual rehoming areas.

Our Rescue Centre reception is also open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon between 1p.m and 5p.m for potential adopters to drop in to meet us for an initial chat about adopting one or more of our cats.
