Carlos and Garfield

Carlos and Garfield are two very special boys who are looking for an indoor-only home together. Although they came from very different backgrounds, they formed an incredible friendship whilst in our care and have become inseparable.

Carlos is around 3 years old and came to us from an abusive situation. Garfield is 2 years old and was born into a feral colony, where he sadly developed a severe eye infection that resulted in the loss of one of his eyes.

Both boys have overcome a great deal in their lives. Carlos is missing a toe, Garfield is missing an eye, they both have calicivirus. Garfield is also FIV positive. Although that may sound daunting, these conditions don't define them. Neither boy needs any ongoing medication, and both enjoy a happy, active life just like any other cat. They're simply looking for someone willing to see and accept this and give them the loving home they deserve.

Despite everything they've been through, they have found comfort in one another. They love playing together, curling up side by side, and give each other confidence. They are understandably shy around new people and will need patient adopters who are happy to let them settle at their own pace. The quickest way to their hearts is definitely through good food!

With time, love and understanding, Carlos and Garfield will blossom into wonderful companions, and watching their confidence grow will be incredibly rewarding.

They are looking for an indoor-only home where they will be the only pets and with no children.
