These three cats are due to come into our care before 27th February as their owner is moving and is unable to take her cats with her.
Remi is a 12 year old black male cat. Bella is a 10 year old black/white female and Eddie is a 6 year tabby male. All three cats get on well together and ideally would like a new home together but if that is not possible then Remi and Bella need to stay together and Eddie could be homed seperately.
"Remi , black male 12 yrs, is a calm cat who loves to fuel up on the sofa and sleep. He likes attention but only when he instigates it. He doesn't like his tail or tummy stroked. He likes to go outside but never ventures far.
Bella, black/white female 10yrs, is quite a shy cat but seems to like men more than women. She would probably be more suited to an elderly couple as she likes a calm and quiet household, she can be jumpy at times. She does like to go out but never goes beyond the garden. She never goes out the front of the house.
Eddie, tabby male 6yrs, is the cheeky one, he likes to play with toys. He loves to go out and often ventures off for a few hours. He is not phased by anyone."
An adult home with a garden is sought.
These cats are still with their current owner but will have health checks with our vets (and any necessary treatment) prior to being rehomed. If a new home cannot be found before 27th Feb they will be brought into the rescue centre.
Please note: We do carry out a pre-adoption home visit. This is an informal visit that takes place in your home. We provide any advice you may need about caring for and settling in new cats or kittens – incl health care, feeding, holiday arrangements, dangers in your home etc. We also look at the location of your home to assess for hazards such as easy access to busy roads or for indoor-only homes to advise on making windows or balconies safe. Our cats have varied temperaments and needs so we also discuss what ‘sort’ of cats would be suitable for you, your family, your lifestyle and your home. Once a successful home visit has been carried out you will be invited back by appointment to meet suitable cats either at our Rescue centre or at our local foster homes and choose your new feline companion(s). If you are interested in offering a home to one or more of our cats you are welcome to visit one of our Adoption Open Days prior to having a home visit but unless you have had a successful home visit you cannot choose or reserve cats at one of our Adoption Days.
