Missy at Lewisham Branch is in need of a new home.

Missy is a very friendly 10 year old little Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Her homeless owner was unfortunately unable to keep her due to his own circumstances..

Missy is great with people including young children and is fine with other dogs. She has a tendency to try and goad cats into playing whether they want to or not and would therefore be best suited to a home without cats. She is housetrained and a very well behaved dog.

Missy has required some medical attention. Our vets have spayed Missy. She also had some mammary lumps, Missy has had some of these lumps removed but is due to have another operation to remove the rest. A chest X-ray was clear and we are awaiting biopsy results.

UPDATE: Missy's biopsy results have come in as low grade adenocarcinoma, this type of cancer has a low recurrance rate following removal. Her new owner would need to keep a watch for any new lumps. We would provide any future vet care relating to this via our Lewisham vet clinic.

Missy is in need of a new home where she will receive lots of love and attention, she would idea for a family home or busy household.
