Oscar is a very friendly 10 year old cat. His owner died last Summer and people had been feeding him but called us when he became unwell. Oscar arrived very dehydrated and suffering with a blocked bladder - a potentially life threatening condtion. Oscar has been treated for this and made a good recovery. As a precaution he does now need to be fed a prescription urinary diet to prevent crystals forming in his urine which could lead to a recurrance of a blocked bladder.
Oscar is a very long, handsome male cat, he would be happiest as the only cat in his new home and would like a home with a garden.
CHAT will continue to provide support with Oscar veterinary care for any future health problems related to urinary conditions via our Long Term Foster scheme but his new owner would need to take on responsibility for the rest of his health care and food etc.
