Boots is a very friendly, laidback 10 year old male cat who has come in for rehoming after his owner moved into residential care. Boots is a very relaxed cat who is okay with other cats and small dogs and has also been used to living as an indoor ony cat.
He is seeking a home with plenty of human company.
Boots does require some dental woork which we will carry out before he is homed. Our vets are also running blood tests to check his general health.
UPDATE 6th JUNE: Unfortunately we have had some bad news regarding Boots health. Although his blood tests were normal our vets were concerned about a potential lump they could feel and an x-ray has revealed what looks like two tumours in his chest, one of which is slightly pressing on his trachea. At the moment Boots has no actual symptoms and is a happy cat. Anticipated future symtoms would be a cough which could be helped with steroids to reduce inflammation but long term his prognosis is poor with our vets estimating his life span as possibly several months.
We would like Boots to enjoy his reamaining time in a home and so are looking for a suitable home for him asap. We will continue to provide his veterinary care via our Lewisham cliniic under our Long Term Foster Scheme.
UPDATE 16th JUNE: GOOD NEWS BOOTS HAS FOUND A NEW HOME!
