Bagpuss had been living stray and was being fed by an elderly lady for several months, he was shy but used to come into her hallway twice a day for food and she was gaining his confidence and could just stroke his head. She then moved into residential care and her flat was being re-let. With no one to care for Bagpuss we took him in before Christmas.
We have neutered and microchipped him but Bagpuss has remained a shy cat shy, he has now been joined with three young black/white feral siblings approx 9 months old. Bubble - black/white male, Jingle - black female, Belle - black/white female.
They are shy and would suit a suitable outdoor home as semi-feral cats as a foursome. They would suit homes such as country gardens, smallholdings, stable yards etc. Shelter such as access to outbuildings, tack room or a hay barn will be required and they will require daily food but will help earn their keep as an effective rodent patrol.
We can rehome feral and semi-feral cats to homes in Sussex, Kent, parts of Surrey and to suitable homes within London. We initially loan a purpose built relocation pen to keep the cats in for 3 -4 weeks to settle them in and provide life long support and back up should it be required e.g with health care.
