Hoover a 2 year old male cat is seeking a new home.

Hoover was a stray cat who turned up hungry in a garden. We have neutered him and returned him to the care of the kind person who took him in but she is moving abroad in a few weeks and he needs a permanent new home.

"When Hoover was first came to my back door he was extremely thin, extremely frightened and always covered in scratches, lumps and bumps - probably from all the Tom cat fighting.  He’d share the food I left for my other cats and they were happy to let him. I called him Hoover because of the speed he ate his food (which hasn’t changed). I’ve been on the search for an owner over the last few months, but with no microchip and no one coming forward it is unlikely he has a fixed abode.

Hoover is recently neutered and up to date with worming and flea control. He is due a booster for outdoor vaccination.

His is becoming a very affectionate little fella, although a bit nervous still. I get a head bump every morning and he sometimes sleeps on the couch with his head on my arm. He’s tolerant with other cats, but would prefer to be the only cat in his new home. He’s friendly with people, so long as they are patient and calm (kids probably aren’t a good idea)"

UPDATE 15TH FEB: Hoovers owners work plans have changed and she is now not moving abroad so Hoover is no longer in need of a home.
