***UPDATE 26/1/17*** Holly is currently being cared for in a foster home for a month or two where she will be able to enjoy lots of love and and reassurance while we carefully monitor her epilepsy and establish the correct dosage of her new medications. We will update her profile when she is ready for her new home.
Tiny 6 year old Holly was taken into a local vet after being found lost and very obviously distressed and desperate for someone to reassure her. She had a microchip so the vet was able to find her history and owners details but sadly her owner could not be located. Holly is the most heart breakingly sweet little girl who is really struggling to adapt to life in the cattery, she just wants reassurance and cuddles all the time...and who could resist! Holly has previously had an injury which has left her with a bit of a limp and she also suffers from seizures, both of these conditions appear to be quite mild but will require a period of observation and further investigation before she will be ready to to find her forever home. We have so many deserving cats to look after and as much as we would like to spend all day with this dear little cat that is clearly not possible so we would love to find her a foster home. Ideally she needs temporary place for a month or two where, we hope, as well as enjoying lots of well deserved cuddles her foster carer will be able to observe her behaviour away from the stresses of a cattery environment. This should help our Sanctuary team and vets get a true picture of problems and figure out the best plan for her future. She will ideally need to be fostered locally to our Sanctuary so she can attend any required vets appointments.
