 We are both neutered.
 We cannot live with children.
 We cannot live with dogs.
We can live with other cats.
We can live in a indoor home or a home with a garden.

Carla and Tilly, a foster mother and daughter duo, are looking for a new home together.

Tilly had a rough start in life, born on the streets and orphaned just days later when her mother passed away. Fortunately, when Tilly was brought to us, we had a nursing cat named Carla, who welcomed Tilly without hesitation and treated her as her own.

Carla's life hasn’t been easy either. She was living in a warehouse, fed by the staff there. She gave birth on top of some pallets, and her three kittens fell through the gaps. Luckily, the staff noticed and managed to save them, placing them somewhere safe so Carla could care for them until they were rescued.

Tilly is a friendly girl who loves being the center of attention and enjoys affection. She happily follows us around, looking at us with her unique little face. Carla, on the other hand, is much shyer and takes longer to build trust with people. However, once she trusts someone, she is a sweet and affectionate cat.

Carla was placed in a foster home while nursing her babies and did exceptionally well. She was relaxed, played with Tilly, and enjoyed running around the flat, finding things to play with, and spending time with her foster caretaker. Unfortunately, they had to return to the shelter after the other kittens were adopted, as the flat became too small for two adult cats. Due to Carla's nervous personality, it has been challenging to find a home willing to give her the time and patience she needs to settle and build trust.

Our cats are rescues, that have either been abandoned, stray, neglected or abused. All homes need to have a home check either by video call or in person and we will provide advice about caring for cats or kittens. This is also a chance for us to see what type of home you can offer to one of our cats and to best match a cat with your home and family.

Following a successful home visit, we will make an appointment for you to come and meet the cats at the shelter and adopt. If you have picked cat/s from the website, you will meet them on adoption day.

We are prioritising homes that are local to our centre and these are the Canning Town catchment areas: East London, parts of North London and parts of West Essex.

If you can offer a home to a harder to home cat, we will consider a home outside these areas.
