 I am 5 years old.
 I am a neutered male.
 I cannot live with children.
 I cannot live with dogs.
I can live with other Calicivirus cats.
 I need a indoor home.

Oreo is a sweet boy who has been a stray for a very long time. He unfortunately had to have his front left leg amputated due to an injury.

Oreo was very nervous when he first came in, he took a while to settle in and get used to being at the shelter.

Oreo has now turned into a loving boy who likes strokes and attention. He can still be a bit flinch with people he doesn’t know very well. Oreo will need to build trust with people when he gets adopted.

Oreo will need a bit more stimulation as he is used to being outside and now will have to be an indoor cat.

Oreo has a condition called feline calicivirus and we will cover any treatment for that specific condition under our long-term foster scheme.  Further information about calicivirus can be found via this link https://icatcare.org/advice/feline-calicivirus-fcv-infection/

Oreo has now had a dental and is healing very well from this, he had to have a few teeth taken out and the rest cleaned.

Our cats are rescues, that have either been abandoned, stray, neglected or abused. All homes need to have a home check either by video call or in person and we will provide advice about caring for cats or kittens. This is also a chance for us to see what type of home you can offer to one of our cats and to best match a cat with your home and family.

Following a successful home visit, we will make an appointment for you to come and meet the cats at the shelter and adopt. If you have picked cat/s from the website, you will meet them on adoption day.

We are prioritising homes that are local to our centre and these are the Canning Town catchment areas: East London, parts of North London and parts of West Essex.

If you can offer a home to a harder to home cat, we will consider a home outside these areas.
