Lovely Gina is a four-year-old blind and diabetic cat. The owners surrendered her to us because as they now have a baby and couldn’t cope with a cat that had diabetes.
Gina currently needs insulin injections twice a day. She is now stable and is seeking a long term foster home with someone who is committed and experienced. Giving insulin injections can be learned and Gina tolerates this well. She will also need a weekly glucose level check, which can also be done at home. It requires one drop of blood, usually taken from the ear.
Gina is sweet and gentle and loves cuddles once she gets to know her human. Due to her blindness she'd prefer to be an only cat so there is no threat in her new home.

I have not been tested with a dog
I prefer to be an only cat
I require an indoor home
