Archie and Brownie are 16-year-old Chinchilla Persian cross siblings whose owner had to move into a nursing home. Her son brought the cats to a private vet to be put to sleep. The vet contacted us to ask whether we could find them a loving retirement home. Both cats are placid and very friendly and affectionate. They were a little neglected but after having received a bath and a good brush their fur became full and soft again.
Archie has an overactive thyroid and is on medication for this. Therefore Archie qualifies to be homed under our Long Term Foster scheme where his thyroid issues will continue to be treated in our Canning Town clinic.
Please note that any of our foster cats need to be placed in close proximity to one of our London clinics as they need to be checked on a regular basis. Ideally the fosterer should have a car or access to a car to bring the cat into the clinic, as a journey by public transport would be too stressful for the cat.

           We can live with children
