Vaca is a friendly 8 year old female cat who is diabetic and therefore requires daily insulin injections and monitoring. She is seeking a loving foster home under our long term foster scheme with someone who lives near one of our London clinics. This means Vaca can be brought in for regular check-ups and can receive low cost veterinary treatment for the rest of her life. Vaca requires injections twice daily so his fosterer must be happy to do that. Vaca is looking for a special animal welfare minded person who perhaps has other cats with similar conditions that require such strict daily routine.
Vaca has spent the last few months in a temporary home and can stay there until July. Her foster daddy has sent some images and this report about her:
"Vaca is a sweet, affectionate and happy cat. She enjoys lounging around the house, cuddling up for pets, and sitting in your lap while you eat or on your chest when you’re laying down. She purrs lots, doesn’t meow or bite and is only known to scratch on very rare occasions if she’s particularly irritated. Vaca is an easygoing cat that is happy with most spaces and just likes to be around people. She is not a picky eater and always uses her litter box. Her eye has also healed wonderfully since having it removed due to infection recently, and diabetes has been brought under control"
