Ridley came into care when her owner entered a care home. She was found to be suffering from an overactive thyroid gland - this had been successfully removed. Sadly she has now developed the same problem with her remaining thyroid gland. She is on life long medication (one pill a day) but is now seeking a new home (or long term foster placement).
Ridley is estimated to be between 10-12 years old and is a very sweet lady. Ridley is currently sharing her space with several cats and is very chilled out about that.
On-going treatment for Ridley's overactive thyroid would be covered under CHAT's long term foster agreement - provided she attends one of the charity veterinary clinics.
I can live in an adult home or with older children.
I would prefer to not live with a dog.
I would prefer to share with a gentle friendly cat
I would prefer access to the outside.
