She is initially a little shy, however once she relaxes she turns into a very cuddly lap cat. Adele will happily nuzzle into you on the sofa, being stroked, for hours on end if she can.
She is now staying in a foster home to give her a break from shelter life. The fosterer reports that she is very much a home body and, since being allowed outdoor access, she has only ventured as far as the patio a couple of times and has quickly run back inside. Consequently we feel that she would also be happy in an indoor only home.
She is very wary of other cats, but could probably live with them if introductions were handled slowly, however she would definitely prefer to be the only cat in the household.
