Trevor is a fabulous handsome 3-year-old neutered male.
Trevor was found as a stray going in to people's houses desperately looking for food. He came in to us in very poor condition and was extremely skinny and suffering from very bad flu. Since being with us he has gained a lot of weight and is now healthy and ready to find his new home.
Trevor is a delightful character who is boisterous and likes to explore a room. He loves attention on his terms (after all, he is a cat) and especially enjoys having heads rubs. He is also quite the conversationalist and never more so than when he is demanding some food. His little face lights up when he is treated to some delicious white fish or tuna.
Trevor has a condition that causes him to have seizures, he is on two different types of medication which manage his condition really well. One medication is twice a day and the other is 3 times a day. He will need someone who will be at home most of the day so he can be medicated at the right times. He can be a bit naughty when having his medication as tablets and therefore we have changed all his medication to liquid form which can also be given in food or into his mouth more easily. Experience of giving medicate to a cat before will help but training will be provided.
Trevor has had a hard life and needs a home that can provide the love, support and care he deserves. He has come a long way and has the potential to open up and become a lovely soft boy in a home with plenty of company from his special human.
Trevor will be homed under our permanent foster scheme, which will mean the medication and check-ups for his seizures will be covered by CHAT. An indoor only home that can travel to one of the Celia Hammond veterinary practices is required as part of our long-term foster support.
Trevor will need to have a video call for anyone who is wanting to home him and we can go into more detail and answer any questions.
