We started our sponsorship scheme to provide support for some of our animals who are old, or bad tempered or have ongoing health problems and are therefore unable to be homed. From just £15, or more if you wish, for one years sponsorship, your support will ensure they have the best care we are able to provide for them.
Cats can be sponsored by an individual or by a group, e.g. school class. In return you will receive an adoption certificate and updates on the work of the Trust.
Shown below are our wonderful resident cats available for sponsorship. For further infomation please contact our Head Office at Wadhurst as below, (our sponsorship scheme is run via 'snail-mail') or email us with a contact adress and we can send you our sponsorship pack.

Introducing Felix
Felix is an older gent of a cat. He was homed by CHAT with his brother Tom to a lovely family as a feral cat over 10 years ago. They have now moved abroad and felt it unfair to take Felix or Tom with them so they were returned to us. Felix has adapted well to home comforts and now lives in the house with the sanctuary’s humans and many other feline friends!.
Meet 'Oscar'
Oscar is a fairly independant chap, having been unwanted by his initial owners when they moved home, Oscar was rehomed but sadly returned to us as he did'nt settle in his new home.
Oscar is now going to be a permanent sanctuary resident. He loves a fuss and greatly enjoys his freedom within the sanctuary grounds, however his favourite pastime is being snuggled up on the staff room sofa or in one of the cat baskets!
Meet Colonel K
When meeting Colonel K, you may notice something different about him.... he has extra toes on each of his feet!
He is very straight laced sort of a chap really, chasing shadows or playing with string would be very much beneath him!
Colonel K is always keen to greet visitors to the sanctuary and loves a fuss and a cuddle. A very changed boy from the frightened cat we rescued in 2006 unless of course it is time for his nails to be trimmed! he is not keen on that at all!!!.....
We can rescue them only you can save them.
