This great big ball of fluff is Bill. He had been fed for some months by a kind person when they spotted him eating food put out for the birds, they called us to help when they noticed he had a nasty wound on the side of his face. We managed to catch him and his injury was treated (when the vet clipped the area he lost most of his whiskers and mane on one side of his face hence his slight wonky appearance) and we kept him to find him a home, poor chap was not coping at all well on the streets. Sadly the damage done to his confidence will take a little longer to repair, while it is clear he was once an owned pet he arrived with us fearful and defensive and he seems to have had a very frightening experience of humans during his time as a free roaming tom. He remains wary and hides under his bedding when scared but he is readily coaxed out with Dreamies and enjoys a good scratch behind his ears and it seems he is learning to trust people again. We do think he would be best suited to a home without children or other pets and we feel sure he will prove to be a fantastic companion once he accepts he is safe and loved.
We have many more cats available for adoption than those shown on our website. Please get in touch to have a chat.
